Then, detail what those stressors and resistors will be and how you will overcome them. Following the IRP assignment guidelines, identify and detail how resistance might present itself throughout your change initiative. Will the initiative create additional stress for employees? What motivations will could be leveraged to overcome the resistance? Develop a list of techniques for dealing with resistance to your initiative and related stress at different levels of your organization. Keep focused on using resistance to your advantage in a positive way and as an opportunity to initiate two-way communication. Remember to identify facts and metrics that can be used in your communication.
